Directed by Gini Reticker
This documentary film tells the remarkable true story of the Liberian women who came together to pray, protest, and bring about a peaceful end to the bloody civil war in their country. Critically acclaimed, “Pray the Devil Back to Hell” won the Alliance of Women Film Journalists’ EDA Female Focus Award (2008); the Cinema for Peace Awards’ Cinema for Peace Award for Justice (2009); and the Tribeca Film Festival’s Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature (2008.)
